Hi,

I always see this term in forex forum so what is meta trader?

^It's the most widely used platform by forex traders worldwide. There are others (e.g., Ninja Trader) but because of its sheer popularity, brokers--even Citibank's FXPro-- have no choice but to offer it as an option to their clients.

Yeah it's the most popular platform for trading forex written by MetaQuotes Corp. It's a piece of software you install on your computer to start trading with forex (and gold/silver/index/etc). You can download it from a forex broker pero pwede din diretso from MetaQuotes for trading on demo. I think it's the most popular because it's easy to use and it's the basis of almost, if not all, expert advisors.

pero may browser based n ding platform ngaun, commonly known as webtrader (so hindi na din kailangan ng software to trade forex pla aside from your browser). Popular providers are xogee and leverate. Yung iba proprietary 2lad ng sa myfinancialbet, etoro at mahifx.
