Tanong ko lang po, meron po bang trend when it comes to buying a stock when it is near its dividend dates? Is it good to buy a stock before the Dividend dates or after the Dividend is paid? Or, it is better to sell the stock before the dividend dates? (nakita ko po kasi, na yung value ng stock eh bumama after the ex-div. dates, also corresponds to the explaination earlier kung paano na calculate the Div.)... In the case of cloud, parang bumababa ang stock price, habang palapit ang div. date, tama po ba ang observation ko? Thanks

Usually ginagwa lang ng mga tsupitero e buy on the day of announcement,or kung magaling maganticipate,buy before the announcement then sell days before the ex-div( kung ayaw ng dividend and depende din sa company)...then buy back on the ex date mismo dahil usually my price action paring nangyayari at the exdiv dahil madaming nag aaverage down...

Sa case naman ng cloud,magulo kasi sila e..nagdeclare ng dividend,then offer to buy shares at 4.2,then at 5,then biglang may llbas na 0.9524/share...di ko alam anong meron at di ko na pinag aksayahang basahin pa disclosure nila...
