MT4 gained notoriety dahil meron silang "virtual dealer plug-in" (na p'wedeng i-manipulate ng broker to the disadvantage of their clients).

Sa ngayon, though, dahil traders are more savvy and discriminating, and also because of the stiff competition among brokers, I think this is no longer as serious a problem as before. Fyi, all the reputable brokers do use MT4 (Citibank, Oanda, MBT among them) even as they also offer other platforms.

Bottom line: if you're with a good broker--one that cares about its reputation--you don't really need to worry about using their MT4 platform, as much as you need to be concerned about how well you trade.

yung ibang brokers may access sa 'loob' ng MT4 (backend yata tawag nila dun)
pwede yata nila i-disable yan.

offered sya ng karamihan kasi mejo sikat nga. 

may paraan naman para maging ok pa rin ang experience sa mt4:
trade ng mas 'accurate' kung lower timeframes; or trade higher timeframes para iwas daya.
bukod pa yung reputation ng broker, malaking tulong din yun.

last night lang i learn from a friend that he used to transact business with these people. although he did not disclose everything in detail, he warned me about this firm. he incurred huge losses in less than a month. i mean HUGE talaga. Maybe my friend was not that competent when he started trading, pero siguro the damage was lesser kung pumunta sya sa brokers with good reputation

any broker basta ideally matagal na & registered dun sa authorities na binanggitko sa itaas.

start mo research mo with: (good/ok brokers in my opinion)
Oanda, dukascopy, MBT, interactive brokers, divisa capital.
hanggat maari wag magtrade live sa MT4 platform. dun ka magtrade sa other platforms (kung available). gamitin mo mt4 pang-charting lang.

remember Sir, bawat broker may + & - so pili ka na lang.

Oanda middle east, AFB (check mo), etc.
check mo rin kung may malapit na branch jan ang MBT, Dukascopy, Interactive Brokers, FXPro, etc
para mas mabilis ang processing ng account mo in case mag oopen ka na.

may tinatawag din na swap-free (islamic) accounts. u might want to explore that kung bagay sayo. wala ko experience jan so pakiresearch na lang Sir.

make sure na well-regulated yung broker. find out kung may KSA financial regulator jan. ideally, registered din jan yung broker mo (ideally, bukod pa dun sa mga nabanggit kong regulators --- UK FSA, US CFTC/NFA, etc)

make sure lagi mag research/due diligence, Sir.
& hanggat maaari aral & demo muna para d sunog pera

Nagtataka naman ako sa mga ibang kapatid natin ...bkt sila or bakit meron parin mga naloloko (i hope my term is correct) ng mga local brokers na ito...may choice naman,,,tapos mas gusto mo pa sa may tinatawag na house commission...

^ sir vheilugto, kung magdedemo ka pa lang, i would recommend FXCM. http://www.fxcm.com kasi maganda ang charting nila compare sa MT4 (personal preference lang pero try it yourself) tsaka alam ko walang expiration ang demo accounts nila.

yung style ko is charting ko is FXCM then live account ko is sa oanda. medyo may time issues kasi sa oanda eh so may discripancies sa charts nila sa ibang broker.

nag-aral din ako ng forex ngayon. yung oanda gusto ko kasi sa website nila, may account summary, kita ko yung details ng pera na ginagamit sa isang trade.

gusto ko rin yung pag-place ng order, buy, sell, limit, may computation na agad yung margin base sa pips. mas naintindihan ko yun kesa sa metatrader. yung account summary di ko ma-gets kasi di detalyado. pero maganda cya sa charting.

meron pa po bang ibang forex broker na may web trading interface gaya ng oanda?
