you don't need permission to join the wannabe world. it's free to enter. just don't stay too long, you don't want to be a wannabe for a long time.

Actually, your best mentor is your boss in the company you work for. Ask him what it is that he wants to accomplish in his company. Ask how he became so successful. How he founded it, runs it, and what his vision is. He will share it cuz he wants YOU to be as passionate as him...little does he know that you want to copy him eventually!

if the company is small enough that may work. if the company is multinational that may not be possible unless he's close to the top. if he was, he probably won't be here.

i wanted to get Larry Ellison as my mentor but he was a bit busy.
