Thanks for answering drec's question.
I was curious about the same thing =D

I plan to empty my BPI UITF, panay money market
at bond funds lang kasi yun to consolidate my money
for housing loan purposes =D

Pero I'll invest again soon after.
Anyone knows if there's a time limit?
Or forever nang open ang UITF account kahit
walang laman?

^sa kasamahan ko, naka-open lang sya at it depends sayo kung paterminate mo siya...

you need to submit separate forms for that. but kung wothdraw mo lang, andun pa rin sa profile mo...

hindi na ganun ka ganda performance ngayong ng Odyssey high-con fund, i think may intervention na executive ng BPI dito. dati nung ING pa sila grand slam rating and gains hehe

leonine,depende yan kung saan concentrated ang stock holdings nila ,gaya today malamang bumaba ang navpu kasi down ang mining index sa PSE.

Hi guys, what do you think of the high-conviction equity fund? Is it a good time now to invest in it given the low navpu?

I already invested in it since 2 months ago and it is down by more than 10% but I am thinking of investing more for the low price now. Is this a good move?

Any comments are appreciated

since BPI acquired Odyssey funds they demoted the rating of the funds especially their hi-con and balanced IMO. Odyssey funds used to performed well on the past years. see 2011 performance.......

yes, this is the reason why I invested in this fund ...

but i think the low performance right now is due to the stocks that they are invested in not doing well. for example, this is their July's report.

11.42% of the fund is invested in PX which is having a big problem right now with the padcal mine...

this is just my interpretation...

i hope kapag na-solve na nila problems with the padcal mine, babawi stocks nila and eventually, makakabawi din odyssey fund natin
