i don't mean to be rude also but

it says it's already available through expressonline but i think they haven't yet finished including that feature. i can apply to classic bpi investment funds online but no odyssey funds available!

Yep, looks like it.. wala pa nga information about the sales load so
it looks like they're just starting..bka by monday pa or next week.
But bottomline is, it should be available online too.

@TSO, sabi dun sa FAQ Odyssey would be more aggressive compared to the "Classic" Funds

Sucky pa rin malaman na may sales load =(

Sayang.. was sooo looking forward to the High Conviction Equity Fund. I thought, finally.. accessible na sya sa retail investors.

Pero may sales load pa rin pala..

Baka may contract pa sila sa HSBC at Citibank..
Sana tanggalin nila ang sales load soon hehe

Theres a phil high conviction equity fund listed. Do you think its the same as odysseys? It says only 10k min investment.

Yes, lahat ng ING funds dati, nakay BPI na at na rebrand as Odyssey.

Dun sa isang forum, sabi 10k daw ang initial KUNG may 1M
ka na in total assets sa BPI..

Meron rin sabi, 10k lng tlaga..

Mukhang hindi pa na communicate sa mga branches kung ano
talaga ang processo, etc

Natanong nya ang High Conviction Fund,
1.5% raw pero dun sa article ni link ni yosh
sabi 2.5%

Although yung article was posted in Aug and
that time in the planning stages palang yung
Odyssey. Maybe 2.5% was the current fee
but its now lowered down to 1.5%

But then again maybe he was just mis informed hehehe
Nabangit nyang nkailang tawag at back and forth sya
para makuha lang yung information na yan.

The entry fee was actually the management fee
hahahah the bastard.. so I guess the post in PEX
would have more weight at this point

BPI Odyssey Funds has:
1. front end fee -paid by the investor
2. management fee -included in NAVPU

In effect, they are like mutual funds..

I'm sorry for the confusion. The figures before are actually the management fees. Now, I just updated the figures with the true entry fees per fund. Sorry mxherr5.

The annual management fees are already imputed in the NAVPU whereas the entry fees are deductible upon investment, whether initial or additional investment.

As you can see, the entry fees depend per type of fund. Money market fund has 0.50% entry fees, bond funds have 1.5%, balanced funds have 2% and equity funds have 2.5%.

I hope this all clear things up. Sorry again for the confusion.
