Not a shooting star but shooting price for ALI

Two warnings and ALI is still alive and kicking. Without the gap down, red close or large red, this stock may go up even further. There might be some headwinds along the way but the current trend is still intact. The large green candlestick invalidates the supposed trend reversal after we saw a shooting star. Instead of a shooting star we saw a shooting price!

Very impressive volume and price action but can it sustain? Nowadays we usually see a large candlestick followed by red ones. Is this going to be different? RSI is still low at 44.18 with a buy signal

Basing on the drawn falling wedge pattern, the breakout has just begun and with impressive volume. RSI is still low so it is safe for now. Let us keep our eyes on this stock and we what candlestick it will form next trading day.

We have seen the rally of this stock until we saw the Bearish Shooting Star Pattern last August 6 CMT chart. Is it now bound to go north? Notice that the price movement last Friday broke the 23.6% Fibonacci Retracement level but was able to gain momentum at the closing thus staying afloat that level.

Post Merge: Aug 12, 2012, 03:32 PMBase on ELI's chart, bears were in control during the downtrend but now a change is implied by the appearance of a doji that shows that the bulls and the bears are in equilibrium. The downward energy is dissipating. Will it now reverse?

One more candlestick and it will become clearer.

Also, the price is playing at the range near 23.6% Fibonacci Retracement level. If the price move away from this level (down or up) then that will be the trend it will take for the next few days/weeks.

Caveat as always.

I would wait for the next candlestick. PX's chart tells us that its in a downtrend. I like the last candlestick but it would have been good if it has a big gap down when it opened last Friday. In other words mukhang dihado sa 'placing' hehehe.
