Sa marketiva kasi dati ako naglalaro

I signed up with Oanda pero di pa ako nagsubmit ng verification papers. I received a call from them this morning and another email asking if I would like to sign-up instead on their Asia-Pacific operation ata iyon.

I have read that Oanda has a larger spread than others, and some other complaints. Can you share the Oanda pros and cons based on your experience trading with them?

ano n nangyari sa marketiva mo? naglalaro k p rin doon gang ngayon?

ako bagohan sa FX at sa oanda din ako
sa verification madali lng nman yan brgy clearance nga sinend ko sa kanila at isang valid id

nirerecomend nman tlga nila na sa aisa-pacific mag register kapag asia ang location mo pero ako nsa US ako nakapag register pinapalipat nila ako pero ayaw ko hahaha hassle

maliit lng naman spread ng oanda kumpara sa ibang broker meron nman iba mas maliit mga 0.6 spread pero $500 nman ang minimum deposit sa oanda walang minumin deposit eh..

ang cons and pros nman para sakin sa oanda

cons(para sakin at nakikita ko sa ngayon)
-ang pangit ng mobile nila(android) ang pangit ng chart, d pa listed sa mt4 android app yung server nila(mas maganda sana mt4 android app mas convenient para sakin yun chart).
mabagal minsan sa mt4 transaction(order/modify/close) kaya para sure na mabilis sa mismong FXTrade ako minsan gumagawa ng transaction(order/modify/close)

-bihira lng mag promo at alang bonuses promo

pros(para sakin at nakikita ko sa ngayon)
-meron sub account, madali gumawa at mabilis lang mag transfer ng pera, maganda sub account kapag meron kang dalawang system or yung iba nag hehedge
-paypal

gaya isang mahirap na mammaayan sa pilipinas walang credit card di makapag open dahil sa alang sapat na pera at alang sapat na income, buti n lng meron prepaid mastercard (BPI my-eprepaid) at nakapag deposit ako sa kanila
-ok nman ang customer support
-d ako sure pero sa oanda parang alang bawal sa pag gamit ng mga EA or indicator sa mt4 yung iba kasi ewan ko bat ayaw gumana hehe
-yung volume at units pde nman micro account(pero dahil pde nman tlga gumagawa ng order sa FXtrade kahit mt4 account makakapagwa ng order ng mag butaltal na units(2543 units) sa FxTrade dahil mt4 kasi saktong volume malalagay doon .02 volume)

made 35% ROI 1 day trade yesterday July 6 Thursday.

Paniwalaan nyo yung RSI nyo pag nanligaw sa overbought o oversold line. Pindut ka agad sa mouse.

Ta nyo kung napindut nyo yung buy button sa 1.207 meron na kayon 230 pips. @ 40cents / pip = $92
Eh yung pinaka mababa 1.2040 mga 30 pips to loose. Di papayag Japan at US ganun kalakas currencies nila. Kaya nag chat yung ma central bankers. Negative news for US and Positive news for Euro.

paano pong "larger spread"? can you share a link na nagsabi nun?
specifically, which currency pairs daw yung may large spread?
+/-1-2pips usually sa Oanda

mababa ang spreads nya, pero kung kumpara sa ibang regulated brokers, oo may mas mababa pa na spreads.
ang downside nung ibang brokers, hindi tumatanggap ng Phil. residents (gaya ng LMAX. not sure kung nagbago na yun), or mas mataas ang minimum capital, or may commissions, etc.

Oanda
good:
mababa minimum capital (ang alam ko +/- $1)
ok ang spreads
relatively mabilis ang execution, regardless of trading volume
regulated broker

bad:
yung java platform, minsan mabagal mag-load or nagka-crash (pero lately d ko na nae-experience yung pag-crash ito, unless marami siguro ako naka-load na applications)
minsan nagdi-disconnect, and/or nag-wa-widen ang spread, lalo na pag may news release
so far yan lang naaalala ko

tungkol sa complaints, halos lahat ng broker meron naman nyan. example, yung isang preferred broker ko, MBT, dami complaints lately about their platform/connection.

chat kayo with Oanda representative to clarify any differences between each branch. alam ko may konti pagkakaiba.
for example, sa Oanda US may FIFO rule, sa UK wala. depende sa branch, iba't iba ang offered instruments.

by the way, spread is just 1 of several factors u need to consider. kung heavy scalper kayo, likely malaking consideration nga yan.

Pero iyong demo trading ko sa Oanda, hindi pa ako nagscalping. Usually, set ko target profit is more than 50 pips.

@Senyor, ilang pips po kinita nyo sa EU pair today?

@ect1, minsan na lang, demo rin, hirap magpondo for live trading

hehehe mukang baliktad tayo pagtading sa java ah.. para sakin mas mabilis mag open/close/modify ng position sa java application nila yung FxTrade ang nakikita pa ang spread.. sa mt4 d nakikita ang spread eh.. pero pag dating sa chart.. mt4 na

in tune po ba ang scalping sa personality nyo?
mejo mabilis/mahirap po kasi magtrade sa lower timeframes.
subukan nyo rin magtrade ng higher timeframes (1 hour to daily)

kelangan mo maramdaman ang pagkatalo para matuto.

Lost 70% of capital. Greedy mode went scalping during the short downturn. That Talking forex zerohedge news is so unreliable.
Acid rushed levered $2.50 a pip tolerated 40 pips Closed it at a loss then reversed position
Poker attitude sat in pyramid $5.50 a pip (lintik na walang gante!) went for a joy ride recovered the 70% + 20% profit. I got my confidence back.
Again greed sat in eying for the 1.242 BNPparibas forecast and 1.2520 price.
Ended Up 50% floating loss.

JUST SIT AND PANIC.

will close my short and go long by monday till august.

yup live. yun lang may wire transfer cost $25
to withdraw and $2.30 pag dating dito sa pinas. yung paypal di ko pa na try yan how much charge to fund and withdraw.

sa mga 3k fund ok lang . pero pag 100 200 mahirap.

can u show me boss panu yung processo nyang oanda at paypal i heard good reviews.
