Good day po.  Basic question lang po regarding sa taxes incurred sa UITF para po sa mga experienced bros and sis natin dito: 

1.  Iyong Trust Fees na per annum tuwing kelan po didededuct yun, cummulative na ba na during redemption nila ibabawas?

2.  Are there withholding taxes upon redemption?  If so, taxed 20% ang profit lang or iyong overall amount na?

Or are all these applied na sa NAVPU?  I mean kung ano ang NAVPU rate for that date, multiply ko lang number of units ko iyon na ang amount na makukuha ko or is there any deductions pa.

I recently invested sa UITF, so I'm wondering what to expect upon redeeming after some years.  Baka nakain na ng tax/fees iyong kikitain ng pera.

As such, UITFs should be treated as one and the same taxable entity as that of the trustor. Following then the BIR Ruling No. 003-05, UITFs upon redemption are no longer subject to the 20% withholding tax if applicable taxes have already been paid on the UITF investments.

ok thanks, so they somehow integrated na pala all the fees and taxes sa NAVPU.  one more thing, does anybody know bakit sa Unionbank may BID, OFFER, at LAST na NAVPU values in a day, alin dun ang susundin, do other banks have this as well?

Bid = Price kung ireredeem mo na units mo
Offer = Price kung bibili ka

Basta ang buying price ay mas mataas sa selling price.
