Di naman kung sino ang pinaka mataas na return ang isa sa basehan kung saan ka mag iinvest sa mutual fund, dapat din alamin mo kung ano ang laman ng portfolio nila, how long they've been operating..

Okay lang kahit saan mo gusto mag invest, as long as happy ka sa performance kung up and ganun din kung low.. Happy investing!

From my personal observation and as an MF investor for more than 3 years now, as long as you keep your funds in the Top 3 MF listed in pifa.com.ph, you will be fine. So I wonder why FAMI and Sunlife lang ang nasa Poll dito

My choice,though, from all of these MF companies is FAMI because of the ff.
- they have an FB page to post your inquiry and they update their fund sheet regularly there. Good points for customer care interaction
- my strategy fits the investment philosophy of the fund manager, to stay invested in the Phils in the long term.
- consistent in Top 3 for most of the diff. MF categories

I do hope na lumabas na yung online portfolio tracker nila, as per their FB page advisory. Para we can track yung content ng investments there, aside from requesting for Statement of Account.

Since i have been satisfied with the returns of my investment there (money working hard for me.. without me doing anything except INVEST regularly).. moving to other competing MFs or UITFs is not yet on my radar kahit me mas better performer than FAMI , in the near future.

Some of my friends, they stick and prefer with PAMI, others with PEMI.

Tutal sabi naman ng Money Expo study, only less than 1% of Pinoys are investing in stocks/MFs. Most of PMT seems to go for stock investing directly. Anyway, being part of the 1% of Pinoys vs that of 99% is a good way to invest your money.

Tulungan na lang natin i-educate yung mga kabayans natin to participate in the Investing World using Mutual Funds..

@Dodong_Pobre saang bank ka may MF? nasa SA din ako eh. how much minimum and how's the performance so far?

@allanmm13 sa ngayon, sister ko pa lang who's here in SA ang hinihikayat ko. kaso ang reason, wala pa daw sya masyadong ipon. she's single btw. at hindi naman daw sure ang returns kaya natatakot sya

ang isang brother ko naman nung nagkwekwento ako about MFs and all, sabi nya, sa kanya ko na lang daw ipasok yun pera kasi he's into lending which gives higher interest. though sabi ko sa kanya, may risk din involved dun. i remember a friend na nawalan ng more than P100K kasi tumakas yun isang creditor. nagbakasyon lang sa pinas tas hindi na bumalik or nagparamdam man lang after.

currently, i have FAMI and ALFM Growth Fund kaso kaka-start ko lang - 2 months with FAMI and barely a week with ALFM. ok naman so far performance

what i like about them is their good customer service and ease in placing investment.

@leelou, pwede mo naman hikayatin sister to start small. Like most mutual funds allows you to start at 5k, then addtl at 1kpesos. Parang 500SAR at 100SAR.

Me mga kilala kasi ako dito sa dubai.. ganyan ginawa nila to get familiarize pano gumagalaw ang MFs nila for a period of 6mos to 1yr. Tapos they just add more after that period

Its a matter of discipline din kasi ang pagsasave, then moving forward sa investing..

Ganyan ang ginagawa ko 500Riyals monthly sa FAMI Equity at COL stocks then 500Riyals every other month kay FAMI Balanced.

Kapag nabawasan na ako ng bayarin or kung magka salary increase, gagawin ko na silang 700Riyals monthly... slowly but surely.

Philequity growth or fami (this is first metro, right?)

Reason: these two outperform the industry by several hundred basis points. Sunlife is a huge fail, and even my portfolio's better than their , and I don't even have high portfolio turnover to begin with.
