If you read Robert Kiyosaki's books you might have read that he invests in growing companies because they offer higher rates of return. In fact, Kiyosaki said that he wouldn't go for an investment that yielded less than 16% rate of return.

Growth fund is a mutual fund whose aim is to achieve capital appreciation by investing in growth stocks. They focus on companies that are experiencing significant earnings or revenue growth, rather than companies that pay outdividends. The hope is that these rapidly growing companies will continue to increase in value, thereby allowing the fund to reap the benefits of large capital gains. In general, growth funds are more volatile than other types of funds, rising more than other funds in bull markets and falling more in bear markets.

How much would be the front end fee or sales load for Insular growth fund? Fund Prospectus? Investment procedure?

No front loading for investments of P475,000 and above. Minimum P50,000. Fund prospectus is available upon request. This is a single pay VUL and not a Mutual Fund. Which means that your beneficiaries have a capital protection feature of 125%. You can designate an applicant owner and insured and has tax advantages over MF. This is why if your investment is P50,000 to P475,000, there is a front load.

<Please send me a copy of fund prospectus (growth fund) at my email. I would like to review it first if you don't mind and can you enlighten me on the tax advantages. The Insular life website has very limited info on their VUL product line.

this must be more on speculative markets like the mining ...geo energy and green and bio fuel companies.....

small companies now....but with a higher predilection for a higher price growth given the trend of the world's future energy supply.

it can achieve rapid growth....but can fall hard just the same.

what are the companies that comprise Insular's Growth Fund?.....what are their Beta scores?

Beta scores are not available to us. But I am sure that the slope (or in finance the beta) is steep probably around 3 to 4? Not sure but need to ask the investment department.
