net profit margins around just to 2-5% (seryoso)

just having a little fun. nice to know all these numbers from one of the all time top brands in the Philippines.

earnings per share 2006-2010 = 0.95 1.64 1.77 2.18 4.08 (consistent still!)

price for 2010's earnings = 8 (!!!)

net profit margins around 10% (lower than its competition though)

dividend yield 5% (beats inflation)

acid test is looking good. i recommend digging.

price for 2009s earnings = 31 (too expensive)

negative last year, too expensive for 2009's positive earnings.

price for interim EPS = 13.5 (cheap!)

its cheap for 2011, but we have to find out how they got their earnings. also, its understandable through its sales and earnings that its risky to invest in this business.

earnings per share 2006-2010 = only profitable last 2010 at 0.0141

interim EPS H1 2011 = 0.03

price for 2011's interim earnings = 132 (too expensive)

overpriced, not digging any further.

interesting. weakness is in 2011. check on this if you plan on digging further. otherwise, they have a good financial standing but flat sales.

a trader-turned-(fundamental) investor. last year matatawa ka portfolio nya kasi puro pula (negative), and yet he's confidence (bragging or defensive, whatever you call it) of his investing strategy.

look at it right now, it's 30+% profit, just by sticking at his stocks.
