AN ANALYST at Angping & Associates Securities, Inc. has advised investors to buy shares in Jollibee Foods Corp. given the company’s attractive prospects.

The fastfood giant recently announced an 8.1% increase in its first-quarter net income to P672.47 million. “Jollibee has good fundamentals,” said analyst Elizabeth S. Abadillo.

She noted the Jollibee brand has gone a long way in terms of gaining international recognition, and the homegrown chain’s plans to expand to Singapore should be good for earnings.

Ms. Abadillo pegged the stock’s support at P105 apiece and resistance at P120. Investors, however, may wait until the stock’s price drops to its second support of P103 to cash in more gains, she added. JFC share prices dropped by 2.6% to P105.20 apiece last Friday.

The analyst, meanwhile, pegged the stock’s 2012 price-to-earnings ratio at 27.72 times, lower than last year’s 29.08 times. — Karen Joyce Q. Ang

I temporarily sold my JFC stocks. Ginagapang pa nila yung investments nila sa China, at medyo nabibitin pa ang kita ng Mang Inasal. Pag nakabawi-bawi na sila bibilhin ko ulit ang JFC.

it closed with a good 3+%. Will it continue? Kung gap up Monday or close high then baka tuloy tuloy ang breakaway.

JFC is, still, operating at loss in China and Mang Inasal expansions are delayed. They are expecting to recover next year. Sooo the price could still drop, MAYBE.

thanks decapolis.. i am considering to get into JFC, but might be worth waiting..
