BPI express teller atm card

  • Hi,

I wonder if I can add my BPI express teller atm account in my paypal bank list. (It is not visa or master card) I have my eon account as the primary bank account (verified) but for some reason the fund transfer to my eon account transaction was not successful and the money was sent back to paypal which I was charged 250PHP.

I am thinking of adding my BPI Express teller atm account but im not really sure if i can use it. I want to be careful as we know there is 250php charge per unsuccessful transfer to bank account. please enlighten me :)

    :thankyou:

  • I haven't tried it yet personally. But, what I know pwede po basta specify mo lang sa withdrawal instruction ung swift code ng BPI.. and 150 ang charge ng BPI for inward remittance. Ska yung conversion ng USD-PHP is I think nasa side ni BPI unless USD account ang recieving account sa BPI. in which case USD naman ang charge ni BPI for transfer di ko lang sure magkano pero parang between 10-15 USD ata.

  • Ang alam ko, di pwede USD ang transfer from your PP to local bank.

Sa US based banks lang pwede ang USD na withdrawal.  Take note po, US based banks po, meaning, dapat yun bank naka base sa US talaga.  So maski CITIBANK Manila branch, PHP pa rin pag nag withdraw ka.

  • thank you po sa mga reply ninyo. I was able to successfully link my BPI atm account to my paypal account. I was able to withdraw but i need to wait and see if it went through successfully. I just have one more question :)

The payment sent to me was already in peso. after I accepted the payment and selected the option that says something like: accept payment in peso and create a peso account. I was charge around 161.00 php that was deducted to my balance. I wonder if that's one time payment or will i be paying the same amount every time I accept a payment?

thanks in advance :) happy weekend everyone!

  • Who charged you the PhP 161?  Maybe that is the exchange rate difference?

  • it was paypal ping...

anyway, the payment sent to me was already in peso. so i don't think it's a conversion fee since I just accepted it as is without converting it to USD. I suspect it's a fee for creating a peso account because I already have two accounts in paypal now under one name. One is dollar account and the other is peso account. I'm not sure though. I just don't like the thought of being charge over and over again every time I accept a payment  :bahalaka:

  • Hello naeann I am inquiring how you verified your PayPal account in order to lift the PayPal limit to allow withdrawal of funds to a bank account?  I too have a BPI Express Teller ATM card but in PayPal it's asking for MasterCard, VISA, or American Express either debit/credit card.  I'm wondering which one I choose to verify my PayPal account?  Thanks in advance!  :D
