2.65 cash dividend, but exdate is left hanging

10% of the cost when i bought it. should have sold it when it reaches 32 last week. now, nobody bids at 30. i'll have to wait for that dividend...

Hey! Didn't they just bought something (allegedly) for smc or some other company who are into the conspiracy theory to get into some business and not showing their hand too early?

Yup, heard that through the grapevine and I think they were just used as conduits. I wouldn't mind it though cause every transaction has fees and I'm betting these were substantial because they were covert hehe! I'm still pretty optimistic on this stock. Its strong suit is its access to metrobank's cadre of big depositors. It derive its main income from treasuries, and its pretty clear that the phil govt would be borrowing more in the coming years as they would not aim to balance the budget just yet, rather, their goal would be for a sustainable budget. Me thinks this is a sleeper stock and would reach its full potential during market peak so lets hold it for a while rds.

Having said that, I am still not satisfied with my explanation on its downward spiral some months back. I have a gut feeling that I do not know the extent of the proverbial iceberg.

kung masyadong mataas ang degree ng "unknown" na probably working against you, i think you should sell it. otherwise, look for answers para medyo luminaw yung "unknown" and it will help you decide to stick on with the stock.

i scalp FMIC last week when they declare dividend of 2.65/share

i buy at 31 and sell at 34 in 1hour time..

i think it will go up pa to 35 to 37 before sept 2

First Metro launches P5-billion bond offer

MANILA, Philippines – First Metro Investment Corp., the investment house of the Metrobank group, has launched a retail bond offering of up to P5 billion, boosting funds for expansion.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, FMIC said the bonds would have a tenor of 5 year and three months and another with seven years in tenor.

The five-year bonds are being offered at an interest rate of 5.5 per annum while and the seven-year bonds at 5.75 percent p.a.

British bank Standard Chartered was mandated as bookrunner for the offering, which will run until August 3. Target issue date is August 10.- D Dumlao
