I have some few concern with my Pag-IBIG Fund. Kasi I heard something, actually my mother is also a victim, regarding naman sa GSIS fund na if you will not make use of a loan out of your GSIS fund, "somebody" will make a loan transaction on your account out of your knowledge.

My mother, after retiring as a teacher, nung nag claim na sya ng GSIS pension nya (lump sum), nalaman na lang na may loan transaction sya sa GSIS kahit hindi sya nakapag loan. Yung sanang i lump sum nya e nawala dahil daw pang cover sa loan.

I am worried also it might happen to Pag-IBIG fund. So I am planning na mag loan na lang, baka iba pa ang mag loan sa fund ko, masayang pa yung mga contricbutions ko.

May alam kaya kayong nangyaring ganyan??

kung iisa palng house mag loan kapa ng isa hahahaha ...then gawin mo aprtment para maka generate ng passive income.

aware kaba that PAgibig II is for 20years plan na eto is base sa representative namin dito sa AUh, so all ur contributions will be withdrwables after 240 months...

Nangyayari nga yung ganyan pati sa SSS. Sa Pag-ibig medyo mahirap sya magawa kasi maraming requirements sa PAG-IBIG before ka ma-approve.. Sa SSS kc ska sa GSIS konti lang ang requirements kaya madali lang makapagrelease ng Salary Loan ...

About sa PAG-IBIG II actually within 5 years pwede mo na makuha... meron silang 5 yrs, 10 yrs, 15 yrs and 20 yrs. term at average of 5.5% per annum net interest. Ganyan din sa POP (Pag-ibig Overseas Program) pwede mo rin ma-claim after 5 yrs, 10 yrs, or 15 yrs. Lower rate nga lang mga 3% lang per annum net interest narin. Yung regular PAG-IBIG kailangan talagang 20 yrs bago mo makuha ung lump sum.

@Dodong pobre, sir bakit po mas mataas ang rate nung pag ibig II kesa yungsa POP? ano nga po pala ang difference nung dalawa? is the pag ibig II the regular paag ibig? thanks!

Kasi sa PAG-IBIG II po required ka ring magbayad ng mandatory/regular PAG-IBIG contribution w/c is at least 100 pesos per month parang ung Flexi-fund ng SSS... Yung POP po kc is a voluntary membership lang sya for OFWs. Ang rate ng POP is from the average 91days T-Bills rate of that year...last 2009 ang average 91-Days -bills rate was about 3.5%...Samantalang ung earnings ng PAG-IBIG II is in a form of dividends depende sa kita ng PAG-IBIG during that year... last 2009 5.5% ung rate na binigay... Pero sa ngayon po ung POP is optional nalang para sa mga OFWs kung gusto pa icontinue ang hulog hanggang maturity.. the last time I paid w/c was yesterday bale dun na ako pinabayad sa mandatory na PAG-IBIG .. so bale dinugtong nila dun sa dati kong PAG-IBIG nung nasa Pinas pa ako nagtatrabaho.. Yung naihulog ko naman sa POP ko is makuha ko sya 5 yrs after the first na hulog... 2 yrs ko lang un nahulugan so un lang i-compute nila pagdating ng maturity sa 2013..

@dodong pobre, sir dati na kasi akong member ng pag ibig,,, ive been making contributions more than the mandatory contributions,,, if i do remember it right, kinuha ko yung maximum which is 5%,,, when i went overseas, pinaayos ko sa misis ko yung sa pag ibig ko and it turn out na na convert ako to POP (as per my wife),,, is there a way to check sir kung nadiscontinue yung sa mandatory membership ko (pag-ibig I and II)? wayang naman yung contributions ko dun, since based sa link na share niyo eh makukuha lamang ang contri ng mandatory members after 20 years of membership or 240 contributions (20 years of continues contributions made?),,, please advise,,,

Automatic po yun na huminto ung PAG-IBIG I nyo nung naging POP member kayo.. Ilang years po ang term nyo sa POP? Kc 5,10,15 yrs ang pwede dun... Sa ngayon po mandatory na ang PAG-IBIG sa mga OFWs kaya if ever may ibabayad ka, dun na nila ipapasok ung contributions nyo sa PAG-IBIG I..Nitong huling payment ko dun na pinasok... Bale ang nangyari, kung magkano lang ung accumulated premium ko sa POP yun lang ang makukuha ako upon maturity w/c is after 5 yrs (2013) 2 yrs ko lang sya nahulugan.. annually kc ang bayad ko.. Hindi naman po yun masasayang kc makukuha mo parin ung sa POP nyo.. verify mo lng kung kelan maturity... Ung sa PAG-IBIG I eh hindi rin po un masasayang kc idudugtong lang nila ung ibabayad nyo.. so after maka 240 contributions pwede mo makuha.. ang disadvantage nga lang eh medyo napahaba lang ung span... I hope clear na po sa inyo.. regarding sa contributions pwede mo hingin un sa PAG-IBIG office .. may record sila nun...

Pag-IBIG declares over P8.4B dividends for 2011

The Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees has approved the declaration of P8.491 billion worth of dividends for 2011. This was announced by Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, who is concurrently Chairman of the Pag-IBIG Board. According to the Vice President, the amount of dividends is equivalent to 71% of the Pag-IBIG’s net income for 2011. This shall be divided among the Fund’s 10.2 million members.

―In effect, individual members’ savings have earned around 4.13% for the year. This is definitely higher than what any bank grants to their clients,‖ VP Binay added.
