Wala pa atang VUL dati so eto ata yung traditional life na may
dividend liquidation option?

Sorry to hear that sir.. pababa ng pababa kasi interest rate eh.

sorry po sa confusion.  my insurance with philam is VERSALIFE insurance. sabi ng agent ko noon 9 years to pay lang and afterwards no need to pay but im covered for life.

after nine years, nagpadala ng letter si Mr. Cuisia, dagdag pa daw ng 2 years.  nag complain ako pero walang courtesy na reply.

nang ika-11th year of payment. naka receive ako ng email from them, dagdag pa daw 1 taon.  ngayon ika 12th year, nag follow up ako ng certificate of full payment.  aba, sagot sa akin sa phone, dagdag uli ng 1 taon (3rd extension).

di ko tuloy alam next year kung bayad na naman uli.  holdap talaga, walang magawa. di man lang magpaliwanag in writing.  gusto lang nila 'mapaso' policy kung di ako mag follow up.  magulang....

Meron naman talagang limited pay insurance..
Na check nyo po yung contract?

Otherwise, na misrepresent ng agent yung
product sayo at projection lang yun at depedent
pa rin sya sa dividends mo..

Sadly even during this time when insurance companies
are pushing for agents as financial advisors, meron

Don’t invest in AXA, Pru Life, Sunlife, Philam etc.. Instead invest in Retail Treasury Bonds directly (eliminate middleman like insurance company) with minimum placement of P5,000.00 and coupon rate of 6.5% - 8%... Available this October 2011  in all Commercial Banks (BPI,BDO, Metrobank, RCBC).. Interest payment every 6 months which you can spend or re-invest. This is a far better investment available than Insurance Policy na nakaipit ang pera nyo at hindi kumikita!  RTBs are guaranteed ng Bureau of Treasury unlike insurance products doesn’t have guarantee! Protect your money!

Uy may talangka pala dito...  tanong sa iyo, Rothschild, paano kapag nag-invest ng 5,000 ang isang breadwinner sa nirerekomenda mong RTB without first securing the protection of his/her family and death abruptly interrupts his/her goal. :bahalaka:

Maganda rin ung RTB pero the purpose of having it in your portfolio is different from having insurance policies.. Is it to cover your post mortem expenses and your family's expenses? ...just my 2 cents

@Butuan,

I already downloaded all Pesos and Senses Episodes para magkaroon ng information on the possible vehicles to use.

Ang suggestion sa book before going into investments. Start 1st on personal discipline then go to protection.

:applause:

Sir, like I said in that thread, I would go with Sunlife's Flexilink
but admittedly, getting Insular's I-Insure plus investing the rest
on some other fund would be "cheaper" and you'd get more return
on your money.

Sunlife's only downside and this might be a deal breaker for you,
is its very average returns.

Thanks for being candid with me butuan. Most agents I encounter are kinda paranoid eh hahaha

Except for Axa, PNBLife and Pioneer Life.

Understandable if you don't have one from PNB and Pioneer.
They're not that popular pero Axa?
How come sir? hehehehe
They're  in the top 5 rin ata dba?

finally I am getting an AXA too.....a 'crossover' for me with their AXELATOR VUL   top up charge is only 2 per cent ( the lowest I have known so far)  and their first policy year premium charge is only 35 per cent ( the lowest among regular recurring pay plans I also have known so far) --> meaning even at the first year, only 35 % goes to the premium charge while the remaining 65 % goes right smack to your chosen fund  ( this is a reverse of Sun and Sun Grepa where the initial first year premium charge is 65%.....succeeding at 5 percent)

another one that catching attention is the new comer SUN Life GREPA VUL.....with their VULs just launched this february....expect a bargain of cheap NAVPs at 0.998+ (equity) as of this writing... ( the cheaper the NAVP...the more units you can buy)

Samahan mo ng I-Pad at I-Phone hehehe...
Kidding.
On a more serious note though, I didn't see the
value in I Heal and similar plans (yan yung parang

Ano pong kit yun?

Lost Policy Declaration is only needed if your policy is lost or damaged dahil sa nabaha kayo.. You will sign it and have it notarized, then Sun Life will give you the certification.
