  • Well, I'm sure you know what my answer is.... hehe

Anyway, going for the one who emerged unscathed in the many financial turmoil in history, is indeed a sound financial decision.

  • Is fund swapping, free of charge (similar to sunlife) possible with philam? if yes, could this be done even the client is overseas? i was just thinking if this could be done online (if alredy available - couldnt see in their website though)

Dont fell in love with the company (kahit dun ka pa nagwowork). Fell in love with the investment vehicle that suits your goal.
Come to think of it,  Berkshire Hathaway's is such a successful company today beating many investment companies but can it sustained this success for the next 25 years (in case Warren Buffett is no longer handling this company)?

Past performance is INDICATION only of future but never a FOOL-PROOF prediction.

    Thanks for this link! =D

Natatawa ako sa topic nato, parang Ateneo vs. La Salle lang. Haha. Let's just say that despite the AIG Crisis, Philam has still emerged as the no. 1 life insurance company. Never been beaten since its inception 63 years ago. If it has done so in the last 6 decades, then the company must be doing something right. :)

  • Hi everyone....

Parang La Salle vs Ateneo nga . Pero I can see a very healthy conversation here.  :cool2: Both companies are good companies and have their own respective track records. I would say diversification is still an important aspect in the investment industry .

    Regards.

  • for me it  depends on which perspective one is looking at.

for investments (VUL) I believed both have mediocre performances in comparison to the fund performance of Insular's VUL products.

these big three, Insular Life; Sun Life and Philam Life have been in the country for decades ...so the  'trust' and 'stability'  factor might not be that number one consideration.

the bottomline in the competition is how do these companies manage the funds under their care?
