We should start making noise again to the media and start the threat of lawsuit to pressure them again... before deadbol has gained media publicity already by appearing on TV, talk shows are rallying on TV, telling the media that they will file a suit..that's why PDIC moved a little bit and paid some of the claims..

now that deadbol has lied low (contrary to what they are saying..as action speaks louder than words ).. PDIC has became complacent again

I know deadbol will deny this again, but unless somebody posted actual happenings (like before a meeting with DEADBOL and Nograles in a radio show, youtube video of deadbol members rally at PDIC etc).. whatever they post after this to refute.. it's all talk.

that's precisely why a group was formed, coz they can do what individual depositors can't by banding together as there is power in numbers..

but now since the only group that can pressure PDIC has lied low... the pressure for PDIC to pay us is gone..so they are back to their old ways of delaying our payments..

seems not we haven't got posts of depositors getting their checks for quite a while now.

Just rant and weep on the sideline? You are a big loser from the get go.
Deadbol will not announce everything that we do here!
You are not a member, so you will not be included either in our daily churn of events!

So, why aren't you heading a so called noise to get public attention??
What is stopping you?

Roquejo, just read your own line again!...Where were you when we've invited Depositors to join DEADBOL?
..."banding together as there is power in numbers"...so, why you did not make the number higher in joining
DEADBOL?!

You've criticized DEADBOL a second Time with pure speculations, coz you don't really know what is going on
within our Group...why should DEADBOL report to PMT what they are doing...we were more open before, coz
we were trying to convince legitim Depositors, that joining DEADBOL is the best thing to do...but unfortunately
(for the Depositors who decided not to join, like you) many Depositors prefered to stay on the Sideline to be passive...
but crawling now out of the holes and asking what DEADBOL is doing!...

you have no right to criticize DEADBOL coz you are not a Member and DEADBOL owe you nothing...

fortunately there are many non DEADBOL Members who appreciate what we are doing, coz they know that we are fighting
for all Depositors...they don't criticize us...they are happy and satisfied with DEADBOL's Actions...

so, Roquejo, why you don't start something productive and constructive on your own, so that you don't depend on DEADBOL
completely, coz you've accused us that we've "lied low"...

Coincidence ?. Its kinda weird when we again started posting about PDIC's inaction on many of our claims then this news item regarding PDIC's payouts appear in GMA7.

Another Article about PDIC from "BusinessWorld Newspaper":

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) is ready to pay P834.3 million to depositors of the padlocked Legacy banks after verifying their accounts.

This amount is on top of the P1.43 billion the state deposit insurer has paid to depositors, bringing total payments to P2.26 billion since it started paying deposit insurance claims in June.

PDIC also said that around 22,000 claims for P2.83 billion lacked documents but has notified clients to produce the needed papers.

Also, around 39,000 claims totaling P4.76 billion are currently being verified. "Once these are validated, claimants will be sent their check payments or letters notifying them of the status of their claims," PDIC said.

The insurer also said it denied payment for over 4,000 claims totaling around P204 million because of either questionable, fictitious or non-existent accounts.

The Legacy banks held around P14 billion in deposits. PDIC said it has gone through 109,791 accounts out of the 134,653 total.
