  • hahaha.reminds mo of my college days sa College of Architecture.

The ceiling should be high. Low ceilings will affect the homeowner's emotions. Low ceilings cause depression and low efficiency in work.

    Are u serious sir?

Anyway, you should have at least 3 meter-high ceiling from ur floor level.Clear dimension po iyon. But then it's not applicable sa mga binebentang bahay ngaun kasi most of them are just 2.5 meter-high.Plus ang isang nakaka apekto is ung living room, maliliit kasi ung sa mga ibinebenta ng developer having a 5 to 6 square in total floor area.

For u to be able to get a "good atmosphere" inside ur house, u should have ur living room a grills over or beneath ur beam to act as an air vent.So when the air gets in...it wud easily gets out. :cool2: This is what we called in architecture "passive cooling" wherein hinahayaan mo na pumasok ang hangin and to the same extent nakakalabas din sila freely without having any obstruction.

Isa ang pilipinas sa may pinaka magndang klima sa buong mundo that's why if u have a good design in ur house done by a good architect or designer, hndi mo kakailanaganin na gumasta ng sobra -sobra para sa konsumo ng kuryente.katulad nga ng nabanggit ko na nakaka-apekto ang mataas na ceiling para lumamig ang loob ng bahay, in that sense hndi mo kakailanganin na gumamit ng "aircon" that wud charge u a thousand of pesos for ur monthly electricity bill.

  • Avoid any skyward beams in areas where you spend a lot of time, like where you sit or sleep. Reconstruct your furniture if you must so that this can be avoided. Perpetuate duration under an skyward beam can bring about ill health and bad luck.

  • My family has a Chinese Lineage. my relatives believes in Feng shui like its part of their religion. everything has measurements and dates of to do and what not.

all i say Feng shui is a Sham. if it were true it would have given my relatives the fortune they've been yearning since so many decades but none came.

Friends, Feng Shui is Just a construct of superstitious belief, every bit of faith in it gives you limitations and false hopes.

Can you imagine there was a Lucky Charm store here in my city full of lucky trinkets and anything "Swerte"...the store only made it 6 months then a fire burned it to the ground....tsk tsk swerte na nga ang binebenta minalas pa.

    time to think.

  • You can believe in Fung Shui if you want, but ultimately people control their own fate. The most important thing is to improve yourself and give it your best. Then many things previously thought to be impossible will become possible.

  • i learn from someone (chinese) na may reason pala yung Feng Shui, hindi lang sya yung luck tulad ng pino-portray nya. More of logical sya, for example, sinabi, dapat bintana is facing this side, that is because the sun would be facing that side so the light will get into the window. Di precise yung example ko, but my point is.. may dahilan or practical application daw talaga feng shui and we do not know, maybe from that practical point of view eh hinaluan ng kung ano ano para pag ok ang outcome, sasabihin mo nga naman - lucky pala talaga tong Feng Shui. Ang maganda siguro is to understand talaga bakit sinuggest yung ganon - what is the implication rather than what fortune or luck that the suggestion or feng shui itself brings.

by the way I do not believe in luck - good luck, bad luck or in whatever form :D
