Hi,

magtatanong lang po. i have a time deposit of 250K from rural bank of paranaque. i know that that amount is insured, but don't know how to claim for it? how do i go about claiming?

hindi pa pwede. abangan mo lang sa pdic website. magpo-post sila ng announcement.

Sir Drawad,

Just wait for announcement,

bring all evidence like a crime scene,

present your case,

they will give you a claim form,

fill them up,

Submit,

Then wait for cash if below 5T, or check payment schedule if P5,001 to P250,000

Come back to get check on the said date.

Can be done:
In banks where you deposited,
PDIC Makati office,
or
LBC

Basta kung nasaan bank records

Maraming balikan pala ang pagclaim.

I previously thought that upon submission of the claim forms, it will be processed immediately.

i have a feeling na matagal tong claiming thing na to knowing these people... i was told to go to the bank and get a claim form there to file in PDIC. if anyone has clearer instructions pls post. it would really be appreciated. such a merry xmas this is going to be.... pfft.

i was told today by PDIC that thay will anounce when forms will be issued at the bank then thay will be there for about two weeks dealing with claims thay say normaly 7 to 30 days for payment .But with so many claims i think a lot longer but as long as your claims are in just wait

Since im in Mindanao(& cannot leave) but need to claim RBOP P230K TimeDeposit, I read from pdic website: http://www.pdic.gov.ph/index.php?nid1=5 that I can download E-Claim Form from their website, but I cannot find it ? did anybody ever downloaded it?

Sarah,

Assuming the closed banks u are referring to are all giving out the claim forms, then it would be best to file at the PDIC office in Makati which is their HQ especially if the banks foreclosed are located on different islands within the Phils were u need to take a plane.

If the banks have not yet issued the claim forms, then u can't file yet and have to wait for further notice from PDIC thru their website or from the news...

latest news of pdic today all payment will start on feb second week. be ready all zerox copy of 2 valid ID and zerox copy of certificate at least 2 copy each.

sound like Happy Chinese New Year...
