I saw that Philstocks.ph has a thread particularly for its clients to discuss things. For a Citiseconline client like me, it will be very good to have a similar thread. Feel free to post comments from other clients regarding the services offered, experiences, tips, functions in the website, seminars (for the benefit of the non-clients), etc. Hope we could learn from each other and become better investors. Let's have a culture of investing in the country.

hello.. Im new here in PMTalk.com.. gusto ko sana mag invest sa stocks kaso nung nagvisit ako sa citiseconline.com, dami ko nababasa na term dun na di ko pa maintindihan..

for now, nagbabasa basa lang ako dito sa PMTforum about investing..

yo ece_trader, does citiseconline enable their clients to buy and sell stocks in international markets, like the Hang Seng and NYSE?

and josh_06, i'm pleased that you're showing interest with regards to investing. i suggest that you go to investopedia.com and give yourself a primer on the said subject. since you're a beginner, i suggest that you read up on value investing (one out of many methods), which is very easy to learn. if you're really serious about it, go to amazon.com and buy Security Analysis by Graham and Dodd.

for Hang Seng, you have to talk with the customer service.. I know they allow you to trade..not sure how much is the requirement fund..

for NYSE, I believe..not yet.

I just signed up with Citisec yesterday. It was my first day of trading earlier. My experience? Horrible! I was not able to complete my transaction because it seems the site can't handle the excessive load it gets during trading hours.

are you sure na problema yun sa server nila? what's your internet service provider? kasi kailangan ng high-speed connection talaga para quick ang transactions.

pag stockholder ka ng isang company at gusto mong umatend ng stockholders meeting
kailangan pa bang magpasa ng request letter ng certification of stock holding at pumunta sa opis nila?

click mo lang yung sell. then set mo yung price. kung may mag "pumatol" sa price mo, mabebenta mo yan. Kung wala, dyan pa rin sya sayo.

Buying power is the "remaining" money you have in your balance to make new (pending) orders sa citiseconline.
