Hi!  I'm thinking of buying BDO's rights offer.  Can COL do this for me? I bought my common BDO shares from COL.  I'm not sure if they facilitate buying rights offers.  Salamat.

Yes. COL can handle that as long as you have available funds to invest.

@xyphrus

I am looking into LR sa services sector. Tungkol naman sa mining, ang nakita ko na pino propose nila na law ay to make mining much more safer and environment friendly. Parang good indication naman yun di ba? But if mining is doomed, I might look into other sectors muna bago mag dive sa market.

From what I heard kase sabi nila it will take 4-6 years daw of exploration (yata) or operation to a specific place bago masabing stable na ang isang mining company. And they also pointed out na what if yung susunod na presidente natin tutol sa mining? So isang factor din yun if your looking for the long term..

@ mamee - wow, you tried day-trade din pala.

Yung DIZ (Dizon Mining) last month ang laki ng gain, more than a 100% agad in a few days lang. Kaso i'm in here talaga for the long term, kaya stick muna ako sa rules ko to invest first sa mga blue chips. Kaya ikaw hinay-hinay lang din muna, unless this is really your plan. :)

Noob Question din Guys - I am also on an EIP account.

Kung baga ang purpose lang naman ng EIP system ng Citisec is to remind you to fund your account to maximize the benefit of cost averaging. So in my case pag bibili na ako ng shares na hindi ko in enroll sa EIP - and pipiliin ko ay yung Limit Day Order Option tama po ba?

2. Supposing pinili ko yung Limit Day Order - then I opted to buy say Company A with board lot of 100 at 5 pesos per share average halimbawa - pero may feedback naman sa menu yung last transactions made for that account - then makikita mo - naglalaro price ni Company A - minsan nasa P4.90 minsan P5.10 etc.

halimbawa nag place ako ng order - for 100 shares at barat ako nilagay ko P4.00 then I proceed - tama po ba intindi ko na hangga't walang pumapatol sa asking maximum price ko -

   b. At the end of the trading day - say past 12 noon - pag walang pumatol sa asking price ko - then ma crecredit ulit sa balance ko yung amount na nilagay ko as placement?

thank you so much for all the insights and advice, again I am a newbie - and I just started 2 months ago. I'm in this for the long haul.

Guys, pls help.

I'm from Cebu and in order to open an account, u must have a billing statement which I don't have. What could I do for this?

Another thing is that, I only have a company ID as of now. Would citisec approve my application?

Thanks a lot!

As per requirements of citiseconline prior opening an EIP or regular account, you should have at least one valid government issued ID. If you got passport, drivers license, professional licence, SSSI Id and the like, then most likely you wont encounter any problem with respect to that however if you got a company ID/ School Id, i doubt that they will accept it. Try to secure any of these gov't issued ID for your future use also. As for the billing statement, it is not necessary that the billing statement should be under your name. You may use the billing statement of any of your relative for example your mother/father or any of your siblings PROVIDED that the address which you've indicated on your application form is the same with the address in the billing statement. Hope this helps. :thankyou:

I'm not sure about it, as far as i know relatives only in the first degree. You may try to ask for an assistance from citisec's helpdesk, email them and explain your situation. I'm sure they will help you on how to sort out the problem.  helpdesk@citiseconline.com

I think kung ang purpose ng billing statement na yan is to know your address, siguro naman may bank account ka. puwede ka kumuha ng statement of bank account. naka specify kasi ung address mo dun.
