I have a problem with buying power. Why is that I cant use more than half of my fund? I already bought stocks using half of my fund but can't seem to buy more.. why is that? Maybe because I have ordered a GTC for a stock and it's status is still posted. how could I cancel that order?It's nowhere in the view/modify order.

Most probably nga merong kang GTC. Check mo sa view/modify orders. Makikita mo dyan kung meron kang posted na transaction. Pwede mo na ma cancel yan mula dyan.

Nangyari sakin yung tulad ng kay kimmuel, medyo different situation lang, kasi nag cancel ako ng buy order, pero di bumalik sa buy power ung pera for the whole trading session, naka float lang.

COL's system can be frustrating that way, but it's never perfect.

question mga sir..

let say you bought stocks A 100 shares each @ 1, 1.5, 2.0 respectively (total of 300 shares)

then stock A rose to a price of 3..can I sell the 100 shares that has an original price of 2.0 only? kasi it seems that the accumulated bought price is averaged down.

kasi I hear people saying I still hold my core share..I am assuming this is the share they bought at the lowest (e.g 1 )..not sure if I am making any sense..hehe

i think board lot po ng ganyan price(1, 1.5, 2.0) ay 1000 shares..

of course you can sell it po..

pero pag hiwalay hiwalay ung po ung transaction..
hiwalay din po un ng charges..

tama rin po na accumulated na ung average price mo para sa stock na iyon,,

@ disturbed - pwede yan sinasabi mo, isa rin kasi sa strategies yang buy up pag pataas ang stock price at selling paunti unti kung sa tingin mo ay malapit na mag peak ang price

Holding your core shares in Citisec is simply allocating in your mind how much you want to retain as buy and hold. For example, 50 of the 100 shares. Therefore, you buy and sell only with the remaining 50 shares.

In citisec, your purchases are accumulated as confirmed by the others. This is why you will encounter tersm like "average up" when continuing buying while is going up and "average down" when continuing buying when the prices go down.
