depends on one's needs.
online - one does his/her own buy/sell orders
live - one calls up/communicates with broker who will place their clients' orders, build a relationship

Online. dito ako sa labas ngayon eh kung tatawag pako gastos rin yun kasama sa 1.0115 na minumultiply ko just to break even.

Im doing also online but ive never tried to talk to a live one, do they give favorable advice ta client?

online broker advantage = none except for low broker's commission while communication may be expensive (broadband fee, etc.) or cheap (if you are in far flung place)

live broker = you can talk by phone and give instruction on your buy and sell limit order
disadvantage = communication cost (specially if you are in far flung places and you do the trades)

recommendation = maintain online and live broker (if you have sufficient funds)

Online is ok especially of the low commission.
However, broker would have some advantage because you stick with your trading rules when you have a broker.
When you trade online, you sometimes get tempted to change positions and all. Too much flexibility is not that good too.
It's sort of an ATM account, because it's too accessible, you tend to use it more often-spend more often.
And due to the higher number of trades, you tend to spend more or less the same commission you paid out sa broker.

But of course, it's all a matter of discipline.

The good thing with online brokers like citiseconline is their research which guides you what to do (if you completely don't have any idea).
