Continued from: UnionBank EON Deposit account (Part 1)

Can someone help me out here.  I got an EON card and already enrolled it for online banking at one of Unionbank's ATM.  I tried enrolling it to my PayPal account but was rejected.  In one of the fora here in PMT, I asked for some advice on what else to do so I can include my EON card in my PayPal account.  Somebody told me to enroll my EON card first at Unionbank's site's EON CyberAccount online banking.  I did that already.  Iwas also asked online to provide a transaction password.  I did that already, too.  After all of that, I tried enrolling my EON card again (for the nth time) in my PayPal account.  But the same thing happened - it got rejected.

I'm really really lost now.  Could somebody please help me out.  Thanks.

even you received your eaon card, kailangan pa activate yan sa main office.. this usually takes 2- 5 days para maactivate... malalaman mo kung activated na if nakakawithdraw ka na sa atm or you can login online (unionbankph.com)..

Thanks, guys.  I'll do that.  Although I did already call my issuing Unionbank branch last month to verify this and they told me na activated na daw yung eon card ko.  But I'll check again.

By the way, I applied for the eon card last December 2007.  I got the card around early January of this year.  I got to enroll it for online banking at a Unionbank ATM nitong mga two weeks ago lang.  Tapos, just the other night, in-enroll ko sya sa website ng Unionbank where they also asked me to provide a transaction password.

Anyway, thanks again.  If things still don't go well after this, I hope you guys won't mind me bugging you again.  Grin  Belated Happy Valentine's!

^dont forget to deposit around P200 bucks in your eon account, to cover the activation charges of paypal, otherwise, (i.e. walang laman ang eon) marereject tlaga ang card mo when you try to hook it up with paypal..

Sabi nila, automatically ka na lang daw padadalhan ng bagong eon card around the time na mag-eexpire na yung card - no need to apply for a new one or anything.

Ang understanding ko, they'll send you the new eon card by the time na mag-eexpire na yung present card mo. You may confirm this with your issuing unionbank branch para sigurado.
