Hi, everyone, for the first time, I have withdrawn my paypal funds to my EON DEBIT card.  I did the transaction last January 21, and it has been 8 days now since that day.  Can anyone tell me what happened to my funds?  It is not yet added to my EON balance.  Is this unusual?

I just got off the phone to paypal. They know nothing so don't waste your money calling them, right now.

I am putting up a blog post later tonight talking about this issue and tracking this issue, but it appears as though many of us are waiting on delayed withdrawals to credit cards/eon. What you can do to provide the most information is to log into your paypal account and see if the transaction is showing as pending or completed.

I have counted more than 10 people waiting on withdrawals that are still pending(these are only ones posting on the net). I have to research a bit more before I decide to go out on a limb with an idea I got earlier. But right now, I would advise AGAINST withdrawing any money to a credit card until it is clear a) what the problem is b) if it is only limited to EON customers.

That said, it'd be interesting to hear if anyone has pending status on paypal but have actually received the money on their card.

Yessir!  It is still pending.  The amount I am transferring is 3h-4h USD.  I have also e-mailed the Union bank about this issue but got no reply from them.  Also, I was trying to contact their customer care and the operators are always busy.  Can we say that the problem is on Union Bank's side?  Is this the 1st time or a usual problem with EON?

My withdrawals (to my EON account) since January 21 is still on pending status as well. I called PayPal and they said it's the bank's responsibility to claim that the funds withdrawn has cleared. My theory - UnionBank takes a while to clear it because of the slight increase of the dollar.

Update: My withdrawal to my HSBC Credit Card (Jan 25) came in today. Something must be wrong with UnionBank's credit facility then.

Oh, no!  Union Bank shouldn't delay the clearance of the funds.  They should know that some of us are relying on the money that's coming in from Paypal withdrawal.  If they continue to do that, I think we should all drop the Union Bank's service and find another bank who will serve us better. Oops

Nag withdraw to credit card din ako last January 26 pero hanggang ngayon pending parin ang status, I have 2 pending withdrawals  and dapat mag wiwithdraw to card ako ulit today, usually kasi pag nag withdraw ako ng Saturday before 4 PM nag mamark as completed na sya ng Sunday ng gabi, then after 2 days, nag rereflect na sa EON account ko during night time.

re sa pagwithdraw ng funds from pp to eon..

i don't think nasa eon/union bank yun prob.

But what about the above posting of Sir Jericho? hindi ba nakapagwithdraw siya using his HSBC?
