MF or UITF - NO, i don't do peso cost averaging

STOCKS - ONLY if there is a a good long term value and the "buying cost" is attractive.

Peso cost averaging is very good for savers only.

I will be investing sa EIP ng COL for my birthday. Any advise kung ano anong stocks ang magandang bilhin? I've checked pse website and mataas ang price ng mga banks ngayon e compared last year of the same month. Sino po ba sa inyo ang naginvest using PCA and ano pong companies ang pinag invest-an ninyo?

Thanks

:thankyou: :thankyou:

If the market is going up...whats the point of PCA. Invest one time..then wait for your exit figure.

If the market is going down...you PCA so that you can take advantage of lower Navpu's as the market is going down.

Hope it made sense.

For me..now is not the time to buy. Its time to sell.

Sell when everyone seems to buy...and buy when everyone is selling.  :D

I would normally hold my funds till the market is down, then i do lump sum. Never tried cost averaging yet.

I haven't done cost averaging yet. But I was lucky enough I did some lump sums way back in 2009 when the market was down. Newbie pa ako sa PMT noon :D My only regret was I did not invest more. Ika nga, be greedy when the others are fearful... But then again, how would you know how well the market performed since then? How will you know if the market will still go up?
I just locked in on my gains and I'm looking to do cost averaging in my MFs this coming 2nd half of 2012 but I don't expect the same kind of returns I got from lump sum.

i think it is only applicable sa mga taong they cannot control their spending habits!!

Most of the time we buy things na di na masyado kailangan ...

 :D :D :D :D :D

siguro sa iba dina nila kailangan kasi they already have the control sa mga finances at budget nila.
