People who are not as pretty as Miss Philippines should not even be criticizing AT ALL.

I’ve browsed around many blog-pages, and some women had the audacity to post thier -uglier than sin photos-, and then make critical comments about a beauty queen. Some of those women were so ugly, you could swear that when they were born, the doctor slapped thier mothers!

blah, blah, blah. Man you are stupid!

Who is more global?
Chinese learning English?
Koreans learning English?
Japanese learning English?
Vietnamese learning English?

Why then should the Filipinos learn English?

Well, because the Filipino men are more well endowed than any of those other countries you mentioned. You see, they are your stereotypical Asians. The term “Asian”, here in the States means you are smart, innovative, industrious and educated and are part of the “model minority”. On the flip side, it also equally means you are money-hungry, cold-hearted, lack hygiene practices, two-faced, ugly and with the males having very small penises.

Thank your lucky stars that Filipinos have the de-facto factor of hispanic names and english as a second language, despite all the negative attributes of colonialism. I don’t want people here to think Filipina women are ugly and Filipino men have embarassingly small penises! Most people here don’t see Filipinos as solely Asian anyways. Thank Heaven!

Small minds, fits right into the palms of those rich Tagalog speakers in Manila.

Don’t you EVER force Tagalog on anybody for the purpose of “looking for a fricken identity”, when the real reason is you are embarassed for not mastering the English language yourself. Don’t blame the colonial intrusions for the Philippines’ inept capabilities of progressing economically. Blame the powers that be, your leaders, you wanting to be superior over the poor who are from the provinces, and yourself who suffers from an inferiority complex.

Tagalog only benefits those who are from the rich class that reside in Metro Manila. May I ask, of those MILLIONS living in the slums in Manila, what is the percentage of those souls are from the poorer provinces? They, the rich Manila folks, are your new masters. But you can’t tell, because they LOOK like you. A white murderer is no different from a brown, yellow or black murderer, sweetheart!

Juan, baby. Here’s the situation, your comment can be understood by approximately 90 million people. You should be proud. However, my comment can be understood by approximately 900,000,000 worldwide 1st and 2nd English language speakers.

Here’s another thing. WE, Filipino-Americans are stereotypically coined as English only speakers, who don’t know our language OR dialects, thus ’selling-out’, right? Well, maybe you are correct or maybe not. That is for us to know.

If we do, it is our business and we could understand your bashings and you not even know it. It’s called the “advantageous-conspiracy”. A robber or a murderer does not tell the public of his illegal vocation. If he does, he will be at the disadvantage. GET IT?

If we don’t, and only speak and understand English, I promise you, we still REACT like FILIPINOS!

Your call! By the way, we here at this college dorm in California would love for you to respond. In English of course. There are 25 Filipino-Americans that range in speaking and understanding Ilokano, Tagalog, Cebuano, Visaya and Kapampangan. English is what bonds us. Some only know their parents’ provincial language and English only, not Tagalog! (Except for our dorm master, he’s a respected Filipino national studying for his Masters Degree in linguistics. He’s not a FOB like you.)

So, bring it on!

Your comment is why the Philippines needs to learn to read and write in English properly. If you are ashamed of your English, just admit it. Don’t disguise it by using nationalism and blaming the past colonial intrusions.

I say this because a young Chinese adult, if he were male, can’t blame his father for his ridiculously small penis. Nor can a young Chinese adult, if she were female, blame her less than human features to her stereotypically ugly Chinese parents, can you?

You take what you have, whether inherited or circumstancial, and make the best of it.
