Here’s one funny “scandal” related to the Hayden Kho sex videos: a friend of mine who wanted to buy a pirated DVD copy got duped three times by pirated DVD sellers.
I remember his story after watching ABS-CBN’s show XXX earlier. The show featured the modus operandi of pirated DVD sellers who cash in on the sex videos by selling pirated DVDs that don’t work or don’t have the videos.

Pardon the delay of this article, but we have recently been distracted (read: engrossed) by the Katrina Halili – Hayden Kho sex video scandal that we forgot to finish writing this. Anyway, that issue has already peaked so we now focus on the next best thing after sex. Money that, is.

“Blogging,” for most people, is about writing stories they want to tell – be it about the latest trip to Boracay, a review of the Star Trek movie, or just plain ranting about the boss or the work.
Several bloggers who write these things do make money from blogging. But not all of them earn a lot from it. The problem is that the stories they are sharing usually have a limited audience. On the internet, if you can’t attract a good number of visitors, you can’t expect to earn a lot from your blog or site.

If everything goes as planned, Twitter — the 140-character microblogging service — will soon be on TV.
As reported by Yahoo:
[Twitter will] develop an unscripted series based on the site, which invites 140-character postings from members around the world.
The show would harness Twitter to put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format.
Paypal and BPI E-Credit Card

Very few local debit and credit cards can be used with Paypal. For those without credit cards, the UnionBank EON debit card is a usual option. For those with a BPI Mastercard, however, there now is an alternative “credit card” that can be used with Paypal: the BPI e-Credit card.
I visited BPI earlier and a staff introduced me to it. The e-Credit card is similar to a supplementary card, which means it is attached to the regular BPI Mastercard.
BPI markets the e-Credit card as the “card for online transactions.” Its account number is different from the regular credit card number which means online, your regular credit card number won’t appear.

Currently circulating around the internet is the sex video of actress Katrina Halili and Dr. Hayden Kho and several other sex videos of Kho and other women.

Yesterday Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. had a Privilege Speech at the Senate condemning Kho for the videos made supposedly without the women’s consent. He also called senators to pass his Senate Bill No. 12 or the Anti-Pornography Act of 2007.
Increased PDIC coverage of P500,000

The bill increasing the amount of insured bank deposits to P500,000 has already been approved but, until now, very few people know when this law will take effect.
In March, the Philippine National Bank (PNB) issued Long-Term Negotiable Certificates of Deposit (LTNCD) with minimum investment amount of P500,000. This entire amount will already be fully insured, according to a representative from the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC). However, she also said she herself doesn’t know when exactly the law will take effect.
So when is the effectivity date of the increased PDIC coverage of P500,000?
