Classes in Metro Manila suspended today

Classes in elementary, high school, and college levels in Metro Manila have been suspended today in anticipation of floods and rains brought by typhoon Karen.

Malacañang has ordered the suspension of classes for all levels starting 12 noon.

On Tuesday night, the National Disaster Coordinating Council ordered the suspension of classes for Wednesday in La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Bataan, Pampanga, and Bulacan.
