Electronic Funds Transfer of Google Adsense earnings in the Philippines?
May 31, 2008
Google Adsense recently announced that publishers in Hungary and Hong Kong are now able to receive their Adsense earnings via Electronic Fund Transfer or EFT. Through EFT, earnings are deposited directly to the publisher’s bank account in his country. Payments are made in the local currency and converted using the exchange rate at the time of the payment.
EFT definitely saves one’s time especially if the publisher’s current mode of payment is checks, which arrive several weeks later. In the Philippines, publishers can be paid via Western Union but the hassle of visiting a WU branch will be gone if EFT is to be implemented.
From 0 to $1k in 90 days (An online earning challenge)
May 29, 2008
It is not impossible to earn at least $1,000 every month. A lot of people have already proven that.
But is it possible for someone who does not have a credit card, is not willing to shell out a substantial amount of money, and has only minimum knowledge of the internet to go from zero to $1,000 online earnings a month in just under 90 days?
(Video) ‘Clean the b*tches’ – Greg’s funny audition on Nestea VJ Hunt
May 29, 2008
It’s not easy to become a music channel VJ. Aside from being able to quickly concoct witty lines, you must also know how to properly pronounce words (how tough!).
Apparently, VJ wannabe Greg who joined the Nestea VJ Hunt has yet to learn these things. Watch his audition video where he mangled the English language by:
- proudly announcing that, during summer, we “clean the bitches”;
- inviting guys to “try your luck to have the bikinis”;
- confirming that guys know“what you are doing, right, with your eyes?”; and
- explaining that, for him, summer means“going to bitch”
Is it still a surprise he didn’t win? ^^

May 28, 2008
A few people have noted in the Comments section of our Google Adsense PIN FAQ article that although they have already received their Google Adsense PIN, they still can’t enter it because they couldn’t find the link inside their accounts to enter it.
Normally, you can enter your Adsense PIN by going to My Account > Payment History > Please enter your PIN.
Nokia Ovi’s Tagalog Adsense ad is funny
May 27, 2008
While checking my Gmail inbox last weekend, a Google Adsense advertisement of Nokia’s media sharing site Ovi.com appeared.
The ad was written in Tagalog. The reason, obviously, is to attract more of the target Filipino audience to click on the ad and eventually try Nokia’s site to upload their photos, videos, and other media.
What’s interesting, though, is how the ad was phrased. It seems like it was translated from English either using a crude Translator Tool or by a person who is not that fluent in the Filipino language.
Take a look.
