Don’t fall for outrageous monetary offers sent to your email, even if the offer supposedly came from us!
Edsilpuno posted in his blog another one of those 419 Nigerian scam emails that dupe people into making a small sum of money in exchange for a share in a much larger gain. This one, however, even drops our name in the hope of deceiving more people.

Apple’s uber-slick phone, the iPhone, is still not launched yet throughout Asia but the gadget is already penetrating the Philippine mainstream market.
A friend showed off his jailbroken (read: hacked) iPhone last week which he bought from Virra Mall in Greenhills. His 8GB phone costs P21,000 (US$525) — a 30% price drop from the cheapest iPhone we saw back in September 2007.

The star of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana said she felt “so embarrassed” after pictures showing her naked back suggesting she was topless were released to the public.
In an interview with People, Miley said: “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”
“I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans, who I care so deeply about. My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy,” she added.

According to Forbes Magazine’s The World’s Billionaires List 2008, the World’s Richest Man is magnanimous investor and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. His fortune is an estimated $62 billion, up $10 billion from last year.

A 13-year-old boy bullied at school over his love for opera is being tipped to become this season’s winner of the UK reality talent show Britain’s Got Talent.
Andrew Johnston last week sang an emotional rendition of Pie Jesu , a performance which moved judges and the audience to tears.
Top Philippine Blogs, based on new Alexa rank

Alexa started implementing its new ranking system yesterday and websites have now been re-ranked as a result. It will surely have its share of criticisms still but, whether we like it or not, there is no doubt that Alexa remains a primary reference tool in ranking websites.
And so we are using it here to show a ranking of the top blogs in the Philippines. Eugene made a commendable effort compiling the list last month but we updated it to show the new Alexa ranks and included other Filipino blogs not mentioned in the list.
