Nude Miley Cyrus in photo scandal?

The star of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana said she felt “so embarrassed” after pictures showing her naked back suggesting she was topless were released to the public.
In an interview with People, Miley said: “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”
“I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans, who I care so deeply about. My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy,” she added.
But photographer Annie Leibovitz insists that she discussed the idea with the young star ahead of the shoot and that Miley’s family were present all throughout the photo shoot.
“Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it,” she explained.
“The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little make-up and I think it is very beautiful.”
The photos will appear in the June issue of Vanity Fair.

I’m waiting to see if Billy Ray is going to sue the photographer. Miley is a minor, and I’m sure that pix was taken and published without his permission.

i think it is a sham (”sham”, not “shame”) … they are constructing controversy to get her in the limelight.

Get over it, people! There’s nothing wrong with her pictures! It seems like everyone tries to make a big deal out of everything about people’s bodies these days. Her photos are very taseful.

there are worse photos than that if people minded their own business most of the time than photos like this wouldn’t mistook for something it is not. i don’t here the public calling the sports illastrated swimsuit models sluts and they have barely there swimsuits !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that its her choice and nobody should judge her 4 doing something that at the time she wanted 2 do. Of course she is a role model for kids but so what its not like she’s posting her body on the disney channel 4 kids 2 c.

OH MY GOSH! WHAT WERE THE EDITORS THINKING! WHAT ABOUT HER DAD? WHAT KIND OF FATHER IS HE! THAT SKANK ISN’T A TEEN POP SENSATION…. SHE’S A ROLE MODEL FOR ALL SKANKS IN THE WORLD. BESIDES SHE IS HELL OF UGLY AND SHE HAS NO TALENT WHAT SO EVER. SO WHAT IF SHE IS LOOKING FOR HER OWN LOOK AND THAT IS NORMAL, SHE IS PUTTING A NEGATIVE MESSAGE TO YOUNG GIRLS. i can’t believe all of u r making such a big deal about this! shes not nude she’s only showing her back. its not a crime to take beautiful pictures. nothing is wrong with them. if anyone can give me one reason that it is bad or explicit or scandolous, i will give u a reason that ur wrong! so bring on the reasons! (p.s. miley u will always be a role model no matter what some people say. if people are mean to u or say mean things about u its only becuz they hav nothing else 2 do and they hav no lives at all! PEACE GIRL!)
