“It’s time to fly” and other similar airline slogans
For the past week, I’ve been trying to book a flight from Manila to Singapore for next week’s long vacation (All Saint’s Day, remember?) but all airlines I contacted are already fully booked. Sigh.
The only consolation I have is that in the process, I discovered three airline slogans that sounded very similar (Gotta problem with me finding consolation in that? Har har.).
Take a look.
Cebu Pacific - a Philippine carrier
Slogan: It’s time everyone flies
* * * * * * * * * *
* These ads open in a new window. *
Air Asia - a low-cost Malaysian airline
Slogan: Now everyone can fly
* * * * * * * * * *
United Airlines - a major airline in the US
Slogan: It’s time to fly
Nothing wrong with having similar slogans but the Creatives guys should be more creative in coming up with a more unique slogan.
In any case, those airline slogans are evidently not applicable to me at this time.
It’s NOT time that everyone flies.
NOT everyone can fly.
It’s NOT time to fly.
Better make a reservation now for my planned travel in Christmas!

Thanks, Wake T-rex. I’ll look at those sites next time. I decided to just stay in the Philippines during this long holiday.
But I think I learned the lesson here, and that is to make a reservation ahead of time, not a week before the flight. LOL. I’m making a reservation now for my planned vacation in Christmas.
