GMA7 stock price jumps on first trading day
The Philippine stock market plunged by 1.5% today but shares of media network GMA (stock code: GMA7) jumped on its IPO debut.
Triggered by the big drops in the last two trading sessions in Wall Street, the main Philippine index ended 51.30 points lower at 3,467.46, but broadcaster GMA Network, Inc. rose 23.53% to close at 10.50 on its first trading day.

@George, we have a discussion forum here specific to Stock Trading.
Investing in stocks is really risky because the prices are volatile and can change in a matter of seconds. Timing of entry and the actual entry price are of the essence.
If you don’t want to trade yourself, get a stock broker to do it for you. Visit the PSE website for a list of authorized brokers in the country.

Hi i have no knowledge of this stock thing at all and im trying hard to understand how it goes but it’s all alien to me. I would like to buy some stocks with GMA7 but im afraid that i will be throwing good money if ever i loose to this stock thing. Can anyone help me understand the risk of this stock buying? I heard it would be a good investment. Maybe anyone can email me a reply. I would really appreciate your time. Please help.
