I regularly search the internet for online opportunities available for Filipinos. And I usually came across “paid-to programs” that supposedly pay you to do various things like read emails, visit websites, click links, participate in surveys, post in forums  or simply sign-up for an account. I am would be wary at first but would be optimistic and sign-up upon getting referrals from fellow Filipinos. E-mails and surveys would come and I am happy to do my part. But soon the e-mails and survey stopped coming despite my constant profile updates. My inquiries were left unanswered. And there seemed to be a problem accessing the sites. I’ve realized that this is how these programs work. They started as legit sites promptly paying their first few members their dues and closed shop after some time leaving newer members unpaid.

My bad experience with “paid-to programs” didn’t stop me from signing-up with their likes. But I no longer just rely on my possible uplines. I now choose sites that pay promptly regardless of the amount requested. In fact, I am now a member of a PTC/PTS program that pays a few cents for click links or signing-up for their sponsors. I am using a new e-mail address specifically created for this venture because I am fully aware that I will be spammed. I get at least $0.10 everyday and transfer it right away to my e-gold account. My only problem with it, aside from the limited income, is that some of the links come with viruses and spywares.

I, too, have joined a program that pays for starting a discussion and responding to another. This one also pays thru e-gold and has a minimum pay-out of $10.

You may be asking why I am tiring myself and possibly wasting my time in these programs. Well, since I have no other means to get a credit card or much less a Paypal account, I am fattening my e-gold account in order to buy my own domain name and start blogging which, as PMT says, is a good way to earn online. But in the meantime, I’ll stick to these programs while googling surefire techniques in making a profitable blog. And I hope the PMT community would be there to guide me.

    Hi Maria,

I myself is an online marketer guy for almost 2 years now. I started my non-investment venture with this Meeting Friend site that pays certain $ cents for every referral signed with my ref.code, fortunately, i got hundreds of dollar sent to me in checks through snail mail. the bad thing was, i don’t own any dollar account. The good thing is, this company got my attention and hold my earning until i get my own dollar account.

With my years of research, reading online articles, forums and ebiz scam. i finally found some of the legitimate ebusiness that oursource their marketing through affiliation programs.

special mention is the Agloco site where they are now gathering more network members to pulling advertisements company including googles and yahoo.

    Enjoy online home business!
