Singapore Scholarship for Filipinos and citizens of other ASEAN countries
November 9, 2006
The Singapore Scholarship, a government-to-government scholarship for students who are citizens of ASEAN member countries (except Singapore), is now accepting applications for Academic Year 2007-2008.
The scholarship is for a full-time undergraduate study at the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Management University. Except for Medicine and Dentistry, all other disciplines are open to recipients of the scholarship.
Each award is for three to four years of tertiary study and covers return airfare, full tuition fees and a living allowance of S$4,300 (approximately P142,000) per annum.
For a Filipino applicant to qualify, he/she must currently be undergoing 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate studies in a local Philippine university.
The application form is available for download at http://www.mfa.gov.sg/scp/ApplicationFormAY07-08.pdf and should be submitted together with other requirements to the Singapore Embassy by December 18.

Greetings! I would like to know if Singapore is also offering scholarship programs for post graduate courses (e.g. medicine). I also would like to know if they also offer funding for education. I ask these questions because I am a medical student from a medical school in the philippines, and i need help in terms of funding to continue my medical career. thank you. :)
