Hi Carlos, sorry I'm not familiar with brokerage companies operating in Davao. You might want to post in our Stocks board in the PMT Forum to inquire. You might also want to check a list of recognized stock agents and registries in the PSE site. Hope that helps.

Hi PMT,

I want to learn more about stock investments before jumping right in. Can you suggest a no non-sense guide? I am based in Davao, which brokerage company would you recommend for a small investor like? I want someone to talk about stocks; a live person I can see face-to-face. I hope that's possible.

Thanks,

Carlos

this is to warn all of you! Take extreme care when dealing with Capitalex.com.

I have paid Them $500 in March but have never recieved the CasCard, they had offered. All my efforts to contact them had no success. No refund recieved.

Beware of them! Dont loose your money!

I'm a bit partial to mutual funds. They yield much higher than time deposits and management is a no-brainer.
