Receive PayPal in the Philippines with PMT’s Pinoy PayPal Service
UPDATE (9/28/2007): PayPal Philippines accounts are now eligible to accept payments. You may want to read the article: PayPal Philippines can now receive payments
===============
For a limited time, PMT's Pinoy PayPal Service is again offering the Receiving PayPal Service. This is to help Filipinos or anyone in the Philippines receive funds even if they don't have a PayPal account or possess only a limited PayPal Philippines account.
To avail of the service, fill up the Receiving PayPal Transaction Request Form.
To protect PMT's PayPal account from fraudulent transactions, not all requests will be accommodated. To increase the chances of having your request processed, submit a scanned copy of a valid ID (with your name and address) to futuregizmo (at) gmail (dot) com upon submission of the Transaction Request Form. Do note that your request can still be processed even if you did not submit an ID copy as long as the payor is a Verified PayPal member or has been proven to be a reliable payor.

If your request is approved, details on how to receive funds will be sent to your email. Funds received are then converted to peso using the closing exchange rate in http://business.inq7.net/forex/. The peso funds are sent to your local bank account via the online fund transfer facility in PMT's UnionBank account. Note that it may take up to 3 banking days (depending on the receiving bank) before sent funds are credited and upon receipt, your bank may charge an additional fee. If you have a UnionBank account, however, transfers can be done real-time on the same day.
PMT charges 4% (minimum of $4) per Receiving PayPal transaction.
If you have questions or clarifications, visit the Pinoy PayPal Service Questions and Comments thread. To read feedback about the service, drop by the Completed Transactions Feedback thread.
Submit a Receiving PayPal request using the Transaction Request Form.

You can sign the online petition in PayPalNow! to add your voice to the campaign. Honestly, though, it takes more than that to convince PayPal to offer the full range of functions to PayPal Philippines. But it’s a good try.

Can we not bond together to ask the Paypal to give as full paypal service i.e. send and receive money? It’s unfair that we cannot receive money. We cannot install paypal payment buttons to our online business.

@Edenita, please fill up the PayPal Transaction Request Form explaining all the details of your request. I’ll get back to you after receiving this request.

I was asking if I can use your PMT paypal receive account in my Ebay. I want to go global but our limited paypal does not permit me to be.
Can I use your PMT account for a payment button on my store? My ebooks cost only $1 to $2 only but they can accumulate fast. Taking for granted that they reach $100 a month, can I use your PMT paypal to withdraw them and be transmitted to my Union Cyber account?
