Hi Ryan, you need to assess first your investment horizon, that is for how long can you keep your investment untouched. If you are expecting huge expenses in the next few months, it might not be advisable to put your money in mutual funds or other investment products. These usually are advantageous only if you leave your investment for at least 3-5 years. In that case, put your money in a savings or time deposit account or try money market funds too.

If you think you have money that you can leave untouched for some years, try mutual funds or other investment products or join the discussion with other PMT members in the Investors Board of the PMT Forum.
